Today is the “One Year Anniversary” for the Duke & Duchess of Sussex  (Prince Harry & Meghan Markle).  In honor of today’s celebration, I’d like to reflect back to last year around their nuptials leading up to the big day.  I (Perfect Planning Events) partnered with area Washington DC Planners, Howerton + Wooten Events and Exquisite Expressions, and produced a Windsor Royal Tea Party for D.C. area Wedding Planners to celebrate the occasion.  A Royal affair it was with pomp and circumstance, and loads of fashion.  To pull of this spectacular fete, we partnered with some of the best D.C. area event professionals.  From big hats to fascinators, to a town crier to announce our guests, to swooning over the moist taste of an elderflower wedding cake, to plenty of photo opportunities with a tea set display or a floral arch.  As a grand gesture, we awarded one of our attendees who had the most fashionable hat ensemble; Sabrina Hare of  Couture Cakes by Sabrina was our winner who wore an embellished pink phalaenopsis orchid hat.

This fabulous celebration was held at The Historic Oxon Hill Manor.
