This past Friday, I was cordially invited to take a tour of a local bridal boutique called “CurvyGirls Bridal” in Fairfax, Virginia.  Through the buzz in the wedding industry I had heard lots of positive chatter about this special boutique so I decided to accept their invitation to see what the noise was all about.

Upon my arrival I was so graciously greeted by Alexandra Boos, Marketing & Spokeswoman for CurvyGirls.  Alexandra is the life and voice of Curvy Girls with her sophisticated charm and personality.  The two of us immediately created a bond because we were both curvy girls with high fashion taste (as we observed each other in our attire, LOL!).  As I was immersed by Alexandra’s hospitality, I was also blown by the decor and setting of the boutique – it is what mega mogul and super model Kimora Lee Simmons would say, “fabulosity”.  There was glamour, sophistication, and elegance that encompassed every inch of this 5200 square foot retail glam machine.  I ultimately thought that I was at Kleinfeld in New York City.  I later had to applaud the owner, Ruth Sutton, Owner & Chief Executive Officer, of CurvyGirls Bridal for providing and environment with such grace and elegance for the REAL WOMAN to come and purchase “the dress of her dreams” that starts a new chapter in her life.
