It is not every day I get the opportunity to plan a jubilant occasion for a client who is celebrating two milestones in their life; a birthday and the adoption of twins! My client was turning 41 and didn’t get the opportunity to celebrate her 40th because of COVID, however, during the year she received the news she had been waiting for, the adoption of twins! So she had lots to celebrate!!! Christina, was celebrating the best of life and I was overjoyed when she contacted me to plan this intimate event to toast the exciting news.

Within two-weeks I designed this elegant party from creating the design blue-print to curating heartfelt gift boxes that were shipped to guests who were attending the celebration virtually and those gathering in-person, to creating the themed-logo and designing the menu and escort cards, to selecting the brunch menu, to the technical setup for the virtual attendees, and more!  Christina informed me that she absolutely loved floral gardens and the color purple. I had to balance birthday + baby shower + timeless, per the request of the the client.  Every time, I met Christina she wore some shade of purple so I knew that was going to be the color for her party.  For Christina, working with me was the ultimate experience that solved her problem; to have a celebration where all she had to do was put her trust in someone that would execute all angles and that is what she received.

During the party, Christina had the opportunity to engage with her guests who attended the brunch and also those who joined virtually.  During the virtual, guests viewed two videos that walked down memory lane of Christina’s journey with each of her friends, and the other video focused on her journey to motherhood and adoption process.  The strength and bond with Christina and her friends represented authentic and revered relationships over many years that is secured their their faith in God.  When I asked Christina if she wanted a theme for her party, she said, “Share the Joy!”  This was definitely what this birthday/motherhood celebration was about!
